Difficulty: very easy

Ingredients:

2 tins (2x 160 g / 2x 5.5 oz) tuna chunks in brine
1 small tin (150 g / 5 oz) sweet corn
60 g / 2 oz grated hard cheese (cheddar, Leicester, etc.)
3 – 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
some herb for sprinkling like chive, parsley, spring onion, etc.

Instructions:

Tuna Sweet corn spread recipe is very simple and we are going to need just five ingredients (more or less).

First, drain all the liquid from the tuna chunks in the tins.
Then, prepare the medium-size bowl, add drained the tuna chunks, mayonnaise, grated hard cheese, ground black pepper, and mix it all together with a hand mixer (recommended) for around 4 minutes. It makes a nice soft structure.
In the next step add the sweet corn and mix the tuna spread for another 2 minutes. Just don’t overdo it. We don’t want to crush sweet corn to small pieces. If you like sweet corn taste you can add 1 tablespoon of some brine from the tin as well.
Now the tuna spread is nearly finished. Just leave it in the fridge overnight to rest.

It is best to serve with bread, sprinkled with chopped herbs, and with some vegetables like cucumbers, peppers, etc.
And if you don’t like tuna, you can try my Simple sardine spread or The yeast spread instead.
See you next time with another recipe.
Good appetite.
